About me
Felicia Heres
I am Felicia, 43 years old, and I live in Haarlem-Schalkwijk. Dogs have played a major role in my life for years. What started as a love for walking dogs grew into a deep interest in behavior, well-being, and truly learning to understand every individual dog.
In recent years, I have done a lot of volunteer work for foundations that help foreign dogs find new homes. Additionally, I have been active as an Animal Buddy for the Dutch Animal Protection Society for a long time – walking dogs for elderly and vulnerable people. In that role, I have walked many different dogs, each with their own character, background, and needs. It is precisely this diversity that has taught me how important a tailored approach, calmness, and clear guidance are.
I have also been a member of a search team that helps recover missing dogs for many years. This work has made me extra aware of the importance of safety and good preparation. That is why I find it essential to get to know every dog well, and I work with fixed groups. New dogs always wear a tracker with me, so that we can head out with extra peace of mind.
